Your First Look At Nick Viall’s Season Of ‘The Bachelor’ Is Finally Here

I’ll be honest: when Nick Viall was announced as the next Bachelor, I was a little bit disappointed. Sure, he’s super hot, but he also brings the drama like no other. I’m a lifelong Bachelor hate-watcher, but even I wasn’t sure I was ready for another season of Nick’s polarizing, sometimes douchey behavior. I have to admit, though, I’m starting to come around to the idea of Bachelor Nick, especially after ABC just dropped us a new teaser featuring lots of his signature smirk and a couple gratuitous ab shots.

That’s right, the first official trailer for season 21 of The Bachelor is finally here.

For those of you not keeping score at home, this is Nick’s fourth attempt to find love on the series.

He was the runner-up on season 10 of The Bachelorette, and then showed up halfway through Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season, only to come in second place yet again. Next, he appeared on season 3 of Bachelor In Paradise and was actually dumped by contestant Jen Saviano prior to being announced as the new Bachelor.

Nick’s been portrayed as a villain throughout most of the series. But, love him or hate him, I guess the dude kind of deserves a last shot at happily ever after.

The trailer doesn’t give much about Nick’s season away, but it does prove the 30 women vying for his affection are going to be more competitive than ever before.

There’s tons of squealing and “OMG he’s so sexy” comments. One contestant even deadpans the camera and says, “I want Nick” Honestly, Nick has had way more screen time than any previous Bachelor contestant, so it’s not surprising these women already feel completely in lust with him. Given how long they’ve been watching him, most of them probably think they already “know” him and feel super possesive over him, so this season is going to be cutthroat and catty AF. I am totally here for it.

If you want to “get some Nick”, as the trailer suggestively says, you can catch the season premier of The Bachelor on Monday, January 2. Honestly, it can’t get here soon enough.
