New Year’s Resolution: bolt down furniture when toddlers are around.
Ricky and Kayli Shoff have shared the video of their two-year-old saving his twin brother from a fallen dresser. As the two boys are playing in their bedroom, the dresser topples on top of one of the twins. According to Elite Daily, the mother of the boys, Kayli, didn’t hear the dresser fall or Brock’s cries and Bowdy brilliantly comes to the rescue.
A CCTV camera in the bedroom caught the entire incident.
The parents were nervous to share the clip, and posted the following message on facebook with the video:
I’ve been a little hesitant to post this. But I feel it’s not only to bring awareness, but it is also incredible.
We are so grateful for the bond that these twin brothers share. We know Bowdy was not alone in moving the dresser off of Brock. And feel blessed that he is ok. Please make sure all your dressers are bolted and secured to the wall. Please share.
As terrifying as the footage is to watch, other parents appreciated the Shoff’s sharing the video. Hopefully, it can prevent accidents in the future.
