13 Books To Read Before They Hit The Big Screen This Year

Often times I find myself to be extremely skeptical of book to film adaptations, particularly if it’s a novel I hold near and dear to my heart. Don’t get me wrong, the experience of seeing your favorite story come to life on the big screen is not lost on me. There’s something extremely magical about watching someone else’s imagination of the tale, but I’m prone to believe that mine is better in most cases.

Lately, however, I’ve been more and more impressed with filmmakers’ abilities to transform a novel into a living breathing cinematic wonder. That being said, I do believe you should always read the book prior to viewing the movie. So, here are a few of the books to catch up on before they hit a big screen near you this year.
