Ryan Reynolds And Andrew Garfield Share A Hilariously Romantic Kiss After Ryan Gosling’s Win

The 74th Annual Golden Globes was chock-full of buzz-worthy moments, one of the most talked about being the passionate anti-Trump acceptance speech from dame Meryl Streep. However, there was another instance from last night’s airing that has the internet in a wonderfully aroused awe.

When Ryan Gosling headed to the stage to accept his Golden Globe for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy, the cameras happened to catch a romantic smooch in the background between fellow nominees Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield. Yes, they really kissed, this is not a drill.

As Ryan Gosling approached the stage to accept his award, Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield leaned in for a kiss.

When Reynolds (also nominated for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy) realized that he had lost to Gosling for his role in La La Land, he decided to pull Garfield in for a seemingly spontaneous kiss. Viewers were understandably thrilled by this unexpected PDA, dubbing it “spideypool” a combination of the pair’s Marvel characters.

Fans could not get enough of the surprise kiss.

Ryan Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively got a kick out of it too.

But the best reaction of all came from sweetheart and ex-girlfriend of Garfield, Emma Stone.

“They did not kiss each other!” Yes, Emma. Yes they did.
