Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell are easily one of the funniest and most likable celebrity couples out there. They manage to keep their private life private, while also documenting the strange and sweet things they often do together. They’re the couple we’re all truly rooting for.
But, even though they’re #CoupleGoals, that doesn’t mean that they don’t argue — especially when it comes to certain unnecessary purchases made by Dax.
Recently, Dax Shepard bought (or, hopefully, rented??) a monstrosity of a motorcycle hybrid so he could “thrash Angeles Crest” with it.
The “motorcycle” may be a fun toy, but let’s be real: it’s an incredible eyesore, and looks like it belongs in the Transformers franchise.
Apparently, Kristen Bell was not made aware of the motorcycle purchase until it was, well … smack dab in the middle of her driveway.
Not surprisingly, Bell was less-than-pleased by the giant tricycle’s unwelcome presence, and made that utterly clear to her Instagram followers by asking her husband, “WTF is on my front lawn right now?!”
This isn’t the first time these two have “bickered” about home furnishings on their social media, either.
In February, Shepard brought home a La-Z-Boy recliner from his office, and insisted that it should be placed smack-dab in the middle of the living room. Bell disagreed, on the basis that the chair is hideous.
Shepard could not be bothered by her Instagram smear campaign, however, and insisted that the “proof of this Lazyboy’s (sic) aesthetic appeal is written all over my face.”
The chair ultimately stayed — but that doesn’t mean that Bell isn’t holding a grudge.
She even gave the situation its own hashtag: #2017lazyboydebate.
Bell is sure to constantly remind Shepard of her feelings on the chair, regardless of how comfortable he might be.
Since it looks like the La-Z-Boy is here to stay, one thing is certain: that huge motorcycle is probably going to get the boot.
After all, marriage is about compromise, right?
