Earlier this week, you might’ve seen the four-year-old whopper zit/cyst/gross thing explode into nastiness. And, honestly, this one might be worse.
Of course, no two pimple pops are the same, and each is unique in its own way.
This isn’t just any normal ol’ pimple. This is a “Dilated pore of Winer.”
If you’re like me and had no idea what that means, Dr. Sandra Lee (aka Dr. Pimple Popper) explains that it’s “essentially a large, solitary open comedone/blackhead.” Basically, dead skin cells get stuck, which widens the pore and plugs up its opening.
What comes out of it? Well, Dr. Lee describes it as “the macerated, white, soggy keratin/skin cells from the deeper portion of the pore,” but we’d simply call it the grossest gunk ever.
Check it out for yourself.
Oh no. No thank you. Just no. Absolutely not.
