It’s been 20 years since we were first introduced to the “Chosen One”— a bespectacled boy wizard with a lightning scar who would change our lives forever.
In honor of such a significant anniversary, TIME and the Cambridge University Department of Psychology got together to create an all-new kind of sorting hat quiz. Now you’ll really know which wizarding house you were destined for.

The 21-question quiz was compiled from several scientific personality surveys along with questions that relate to prevalent themes in the books.
