In every long-term relationship, there comes a certain point when you realize that the gooey “honeymoon phase” is officially over. Perhaps it’s the first time you fart in front of one another. Perhaps it’s when you finally feel comfortable openly disagreeing with one another. Or, sadly, perhaps it’s simply when you don’t feel the same love anymore.
People recently took to Whisper to share the moment they realized that the honeymoon phase of their relationship was over. For some, the end of this dreamy phase is a sign of a new, more mature stage of the relationship (i.e., comfort over passion). For others, however, it’s indicative of the relationship collapsing in on itself.
Either way, it’s pretty clear: once the honeymoon stage is over, there’s a lot of bodily functions involved.
