Boudoir shoots are something of a pastime for brides. Typically the future missus dons racy lingerie and poses on a bed, or even naked if she’s feelin’ real fierce. Props usually consist of wedding-related pieces like jewelry, a garter, flowers, or her veil.
It seems pretty straightforward, but every now and then someone decides to think outside the box. We’ve seen guys get in on the sexy action, and even one woman who donned a Sesame Street Yip Yip costume to poke a little fun at the genre. But an inflatable Tyrannosaurus Rex had yet to be accomplished. Until now.
Josh and Kissy Photography’s Facebook page blew up when they posted photos of a friend’s unique request for some boudoir photos.
In their post they explained how the idea was unearthed:
They say: “When your friend comes to you and says, “I want to make a book to give to my fiancé before we walk down the [a]isle. I want to do some boudoir shots…. dressed up as a dinosaur!” You say, “WHEN AND WHERE?!”
We’re so glad that was the reaction, because these photos are truly
Land Before Timeless!
This clever girl gives her intended an eyeful.
Work them pearls, girl!
Note the “something blue” heels. 👏
You can tell when a subject and photographer really “click.” The model just lets go of all inhibition.
I’m actually kind mad I didn’t think of it first.
So how exactly do you manage to get feel sexy in inflatable costume?
“Nicole and I were laughing until we had tears streaming our face. I never knew how hard it would be to pose a seven foot dinosaur and make it look sexy but Nicole totally nailed it. This was so fun! Seriously, one of my favorite shoots of all time.”
Congratulations to the bride and groom. Sir, you landed one hell of a woman!
