Jada and Will aren’t swingers, a ‘Sister, Sister’ reboot is in the works, and Justin Bieber is banned from China

Welcome to Afternoon Tea, our daily gossip/news roundup where we oh-so-casually dig up the dirt on what’s happening in the celebrity realm (but we never get our hands dirty, darling).

So, sit back, relax and get ready to spill.

Jada Pinkett Smith says she and husband Will Smith aren’t actually swingers.

I’m not quite sure where the rumor came from, but everyone has been saying for years that Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have an open relationship, and/or engage in a “swinger lifestyle.” However, Jada recently put those rumors to rest on Thursday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

When asked about the craziest rumor she’s experienced in the spotlight, Jada replied, “The craziest rumor? That Will and I are swingers. That’s the craziest one. It’s constant. And I’m like, ‘Yo, I wish!'”

Jada went on to describe how she and Will have managed to keep the spark in their relationship all these years.

“I really think that Will and I just have amazing chemistry on a lot of different levels. We love to laugh together, we love to learn together, and we just love each other. We just have a good time together. Yeah, I guess that’s the secret. Yeah, we just really like each other!”

Welp, there you have it, folks: the secret to a lasting celebrity relationship is to like each other. Who’dathunk?

A Sister, Sister reboot may very well be happening.

A remake of the beloved ’90s sitcom, Sister, Sister, which followed the antics of two twins separated at birth, may very well be happening. The Mowry sisters are apparently already having meetings and working to make a reboot happen.

“We’re meeting with writers and producers because we wanna make sure it’s all a great fit, but we are progressively moving forward to make this happen,” star Tamera Mowry-Housely tells People.

“We want to make sure that it is great TV and that it’s gonna be fun … We appreciate all of our fans’ eagerness because we are just as eager as you guys are.”

No word yet as to whether or not the dream will actually become a reality — but hey, our nostalgic little hearts can hope, right?

Justin Bieber was banned from China for “bad behavior.”

China has apparently joined the very long list of people who don’t like Justin Bieber — and, as a result, Biebs is no longer welcome to perform in the country. The decision apparently came as a result of the singer’s notorious “bad behavior.”

“Justin Bieber is a talented singer but is also a controversial young foreign idol,” the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture said in a statement. “We understand that there are records of his bad behavior, whether it is in his private life abroad or on stage. His inappropriate manner has caused public discontent. In order to regulate the market order of show business in China and purify the market environment, it was decided that performers of inappropriate behavior will not be welcomed.”

“We hope that as Justin Bieber matures, he can continue to improve his own words and actions,” the Bureau added.

Dare to dream, China.
