SPOILERS AHEAD! You done been told.
Sunday’s Season 7 Game of Thrones finale had everything we’ve been expecting all season: vicious deaths, Cersei being her typically vengeful self, the white walkers marching on the Wall, and of course, the consummation of the Wolf and the Dragon.
Yes, Jon Snow (aka Aegon Targaryen) and Daenerys Targaryen got it on in pure unadulterated aunt and nephew fashion. But for the 99.9% of fans who saw this coming, it was still made even more awkward when the producers decided to outline Jon’s lineage as a dramatic voiceover by the new Three-Eyed Raven (Bran), whilst Jon and Daenerys bumped uglies.
GoT fans are having a hard time dealing with their feelings for Jon and Dany’s long expected familial relations.
So even though we knew it was bound to happen, Jon and Dany’s professional relationship has been made slightly more uncomfortable with their little tryst. Jon is now a new complication to Daenerys’ ascension to the Iron Throne: He’s the rightful male heir, her nephew, and her boyfriend.
