Watching Jennifer Garner on laughing gas makes me feel like I am also on laughing gas

Apart from her recent foray into Capital One commercials and her unfortunate decision to ever become involved with Ben Affleck, I will admit that I don’t know very much about Jennifer Garner. I know that she was in 13 Going on 30, easily the best ripoff of Big ever made, and I also know that she starred in Alias, which my mom still watches.

Other than that, she is a total mystery to me.

However, after watching footage of Jennifer Garner coming home from the dentist while under the influence of laughing gas, I feel like I’ve become a little bit closer to the true Jennifer Garner: a woman who laugh-cries over the beauty of Lin Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton.

Garner recently posted the hilarious video to her Instagram account, with the caption “Throwback Thursday– that time I had dental anesthesia…laughing gas + novocaine + Hamilton = you’re welcome.”

I have no idea who she’s talking to on the phone (Ben?!), but I’m very jealous of the fact that they got to witness the entirety of Garner’s emotional breakdown over the effectiveness of a musical theatre production. I would maybe watch an entire movie of this. (Hey, there’s a pitch for her next starring role!)

Thank you for being a beautiful, sensitive, and weepy soul, Jen. I can’t tell whether you’re laughing or crying, but either way — I think I get where you’re coming from.
