Hurricane Maria left the country of Puerto Rico in complete devastation, robbing its citizens of even the most basic resources. Several relief efforts have been organized around the world, including a clever charity campaign conceived from the minds of Stephen Colbert and Nick Kroll.
Late Show host Stephen Colbert and comedian Nick Kroll asked celebrities to post awkward teenage photos of themselves as part of a campaign to raise money for Puerto Rico.
The charity campaign, aptly dubbed #PuberMe, will fund relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Maria.
“I’m happy to announce that for every celebrity — and I get to determine who’s a celebrity — who posts their awkward teenage photos with the hashtags #PuberMe and #PuertoRicoRelief, the AmeriCone Dream Foundation will donate $1,000 to One America Appeal,” Colbert announced on Thursday.
