5 reasons to say “Hell Yeah!” this week

If you’re reading this, it means you’ve finally made it to Friday and freedom is only hours away. But before the clock strikes 5 and you make a mad dash out the door, take a minute to check out some of the good news from this week. It might even make your day go by faster.

1. The Rock filming a ‘get well’ video for someone’s grandma

“Judy Rosenberg is a 76-year-old grandmother who is currently battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer and has been moved into hospice care. In order to lift her spirits, she’s apparently kept a cardboard cutout of The Rock next to her hospital bed — because if you’re going into battle, it never hurts to have a photo of your dream hunk around as motivation. In a wonderful turn of events, The Rock received an email from one of Judy’s grandkids asking him to send her well-wishes. The Rock didn’t hesitate to oblige, and posted an adorable “get well” video for Judy to his Instagram account, proving once more that he is absolutely America’s sweetheart.”

2. This mom’s breast pumping robot dance

“For many working moms, breast pumping is simply a tedious reality — however, that doesn’t mean you can’t find joy in the daily task. Eden Grinshpan, renowned New York chef and host of Top Chef Canada, gave birth to her daughter Ayv in April. Eden recently purchased a hands-free breast pump, and decided to use the opportunity to have a little bit of fun.”

3. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher’s Christmas tradition

“Of all the celebrity parents out there, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have become a personal favorite. The That 70s Show pair recently announced that they will no longer be giving their kids Christmas presents and the reason why is making us love them even more.”

4. ‘Rugrats’ Reptar Bars are coming back

“FYE and Nickelodeon have teamed up to bring us an authentic version of the Rugrats‘ delight: the Reptar Bar. Fans of the TV series will remember the green-frosting-filled chocolate bars, in the shape of the toddler gang’s favorite building smashing dinosaur. And like Tommy, Chucky, Phil, Lil, and Angelica’s candy of choice, the real Reptar bars will also turn your mouth green.”

5. This little girl’s answer to a ridiculously outdated homework question

“Combatting sexism and deeply-ingrained misogyny is difficult at any age, but it’s especially daunting when you’re in elementary school. Perhaps that’s why one young girl’s answer on a classroom worksheet is garnering so much attention from Twitter.”

Happy Friday!
