Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s family Halloween costumes were so damn iconic, they’re giving me FOMO

It’s pretty typical for me to fantasize about somehow being adopted by Chrissy Teigen and John Legend and subsequently hanging out in their beautiful house full of cookbook recipes and bulldogs dressed as bellhops. I mean, if we can’t hold on to our dreams, how are we supposed to live?

However, Teigen and Legend’s family Halloween costumes this year have officially raised my FOMO to previously unheard of levels.

This year, Chrissy decided to dress up as Carmen Miranda (complete with the signature fruit hat), while John Legend was Groucho Marx. The costume idea was an homage to the iconic 1947 film, Copacabana.

And don’t worry — baby Luna wasn’t left out of the Halloween fun. The little tot was dressed up as the world’s most adorable pineapple.

According to her Snapchat, Chrissy’s mom dressed up as a “Thai banana leaf ghost?”

Overall, a pretty damn classy (and classic) look for this fam. And major props to Chrissy for wearing that precarious and elaborate headdress all evening.

So, yeah. In the words of Ilana Glazer on Broad City, “My FOMO’s through the damn roof.”

Next time, guys, please remember to invite me to your Halloween festivities, so I can avoid this.
