If you want to be mind, body, and soul type of free, then you should probably go to a music festival. People have the freedom to wear whatever they want and that’s exactly what Madeline Anello-Kitzmiller did.
Madeline jetted off to New Zealand to attend the Rhythm & Vines Festival over New Year’s Day weekend, where she chose to wear the most minimalist attire. She opted for bikini bottoms with a wrap and going topless with a touch of glitter.
During the fest and while walking through the field, a man snuck up behind and grabbed one of her breasts before running back to his friends.
Immediately after the incident, Madeline and her friend followed him back and let him have it. Madeline’s BFF poured her drink on his head while Madeline beat the crap out of his face. “My anger was fueled not only by the harassment throughout the day, but throughout my life,” she said. “Next time I think I’d go grab [the sexual harasser] and get him kicked out of the festival.”
The Portland, Oregon native has since been at the center of the ‘glitter boobs’ controversy and posted a video to back her actions and choice of attire.
“My breasts are not sex toys, not an invitation,” Madeline said. “My body is beautiful, and no matter who says otherwise, it cannot and will not demean my own self-worth, nor should it.”
Madeline says that she would go topless again and wants others to know that “…women have been over-sexualized for way too long and it needs to stop.”
You tell ’em!
