If there’s one thing the Internet has taught us about the world abroad, it’s that Japan is weird AF. Take this latest craze, for example.
Parents all over the Land of the Rising Sun (or Land of the Rising Three Times A Night Before The Sun Comes Up, if their kids are under 6 months) have begun posting pictures of tiny baby asses censored by a peach.
The hashtag, 桃尻 , which, go figure, means “peach,” appears to have reached critical mass on Instagram after parenting blog Kodomono made it part of a photo contest.
Butts of all varieties are represented though…
We’ve got the bookstore shopping butt.
The TV addict butt.
The “strike a pose” butt.
The “You need to clean up this mess right now” butt.
The twin butt.
The probably too old to be taking place in this hashtag butt.
And the too young to have a butt big enough to be covered by peach butt.
