There Is Some Sexual ~*Drama*~ Happening Between These Olympic Divers Right now

We all know that Olympic athletes “Fuck” with a capital “F.” The 450,000 condoms handed out at this year’s games in Rio should be enough to firmly solidify this fact — alongside the indisputable truth that, when you house thousands of young, attractive, incredibly fit people in one place, there’s bound to be some boinking involved.

But while Olympic off-hours sound like a weirdly patriotic fest of hedonism, some Olympians wish their fellow athletes could just keep it in their pants.

Brazilian Olympic diver Giovanna Pedroso (17) has reportedly split from her synchronized diving partner, Ingrid Oliveira (20), after Pedroso was unceremoniously booted from the pair’s shared room so that Oliveira could have sex with canoeist Pedro Goncalves.

Apparently, the incident occurred the night before the duo competed in the Women’s Synchronised 10m Platform event. Pedroso and Oliveira finished last in the event, despite taking home silver medals at the Toronto Pan American Games last year.

The diving team was apparently already on the outs with one another, but the late-night sexual marathon was the last straw, as far as Pedroso was concerned.

“I don’t know if we are going to continue together,” Pedroso told Brazil’s O Globo “My coach and I have already spoken and after the Olympics I’m going to focus on my individual performances. It’s good because I’m not going to need to depend on anyone. Then I will be able to improve and evolve more.”

Oliveira also confirmed the pair’s impending separation in the same publication.

“From today I don’t know what’s going to happen. But what I do know is that I won’t do synchronized diving any more with [Pedroso].”

The unfortunate event serves as a reminder to all of us: if you’re going to have a roommate, your sex schedule should probably be considerate of their sleep schedule.
