You know you love it. Covering your screen when one of Dr. Pimple Popper’s videos comes up on your Instagram feed and you just can’t bring yourself to scroll past. You have to see what she’s unearthing now, and feel that sense of joy that comes out of seeing something pretty freaking gross go from “Holy shit, how can that come out of someone’s body?!” to “Wow, she was able to make that spot look pretty again.”
You my friend, are a bonafide popaholic, and there ain’t no shame! Enjoy this compilation of our fave ooey-gooey squeezes, and relish in the fact that you can probably handle just about anything the internet throws at you.
6. The most-watched Dilated Pore of Winer
With over 22.5M views, this simple extraction is Dr. Lee’s most watched pop on her YouTube page to date. To sum up “A Dilated Pore of Winer, is essentially a giant blackhead.” Using her extractor tool, Dr. PP can pull out the blackhead, but the enlarged pore it leaves behind has to be stitched up. It usually refills again with dead skin, so these guys are repeat offenders. Dr. Lee’s 85 year old patient is adorably funny, and the banter between her and her daughter makes for an entertaining soundtrack.
5. A “Mother” of a blackhead
Dr. Lee typically is able to use a comedone extractor tool to remove the contents of a blackhead, which sometimes tend to break apart instead of sliding right out like in the first clip. This video is the extraction of one woman’s entire back of blackheads. But I suggest skipping ahead to 5:50 for a very unassuming blackhead that actually evolved into something a bit more under the surface.
4. A cheesy neck cyst
This gentleman’s neck is home to an Epidermal Inclusion Cyst, in which “The pasty contents are mostly composed of macerated keratin (wet skin cells), which creates this “cheesy” consistency, and there can be a pungent odor.” Yummy. With this size of a cyst, Dr. Lee uses her punch tool to create a hole where she can squeeze the contents of the growth, and pull out the cyst sac that lies beneath. Otherwise, the cyst could come back.
3. This pancake-like back cyst
Gotta hand it to Dr. Pimple Popper for the extreme close-ups she gets. What she originally thought was a Dilated Pore of Winer actually turned out to be a cyst. The area of the back that the growth is on caused the cyst to flatten over time, probably due to sleeping and sitting positions.
2. A muddy epidermoid cyst on the back
This video is a compilation, so to get to the pop we are highlighting you can go ahead and skip ahead to 5:38 (or watch the whole thing, it’s pretty gnarly). Dr. Lee’s patient in this clip has a large epidermoid cyst on his back that has to be squeezed of some of the darkest contents that I have ever seen come out of a pore, and the sac that is removed has almost looks like a slug. You can make it through, I believe in you.
1. The “Meatball” of an arm cyst
We featured this pop not that long ago, and it’s stuck with us since. Dr. Pimple Popper describes this one best as “like a hard boiled egg!” Once it really starts coming apart from the squeeze, it almost takes on the crumbly consistency of blue cheese. But Dr. Lee explains that it’s actually just dead skin that’s flaked off into the sac of the cyst. If you can make it from start to finish, you’ve been blessed with a stomach of steel.
