Church Accidentally Prints Tupac’s “Hail Mary” Lyrics On Christmas Service Programs

Sri Lankan churchgoers got a Christmas surprise almost as shocking as Jesus’s resurrection. During the service, a few people flipped open their programs ready to follow along with the Hail Mary but received a… different kind of message. The church accidentally printed the lyrics to Tupac’s 1997 hip hop song Hail Mary.

“Revenge is like the sweetest joy next to gettin’ pu**y” – Corinthians 2:15(???)

A scandalized worshiper sent out the programs over social media, and his tweet has garnered over 18,000 retweets and 22,000 favorites.

Lyrics is Tupac’s version include “Do you want to ride or die?” and “I ain’t a killer but don’t push me.”

Twitter collectively cackled at the mishap

WWTD? What would Tupac do?

The church released an official apology to CNN, explaining that the “young boy” in charge of printing the programs simply copy/pasted the wrong version of the song. “We are very sorry to say that this happened.” So is God. So. Is. God.
