Kylie Jenner is having a weird week. First, there was the incident where one of her staffers posted an unapproved article to her app which included intimate details about Kylie’s relationship with Tyga. And now, it seems that Kylie’s new 2017 calendar f*cked up the one job it was supposed to get right: Kylie’s birthday.
As you were (maybe) aware, Kylie recently released a calendar for 2017 with the help of photographer Terry Richardson. The calendars are currently being sold through Kylie’s online shop for a cool $22 a pop.
The calendar is (you guessed it) filled with a myriad of sultry and suggestive snapshots of Kylie, as well as the various important birthdays in her life.
The only problem? Besides the fact that Terry Richardson is somehow still getting work despite numerous accusations of him being a sexual predator?
The calendar somehow marked Kylie’s birthday incorrectly.
Some eagle-eyed fans noticed when they received their calendars that Kylie’s birthday was printed a full ten days after her actual birthday, which falls on Aug. 10.
Some people innately know Kylie Jenner’s birthday by heart. I am not one of those people, so I was forced to search around and confirm that, yes — Kylie’s birthday is definitely Aug. 10 rather than Aug. 20 (because I know you were concerned).
The date features what appears to be Kylie’s handwriting, (incorrectly) celebrating the day that she turns 20.
The great irony, of course, is that the calendar somehow managed to get the birthday of Kylie’s dog correct — because, you know, priorities.
Does this mean that Kylie didn’t do a final checkup on the calendar before it went to the publisher? Did someone on the publisher’s side just severely f*ck up? Or, in addition to changing everything about her physical appearance, is Kylie just taking the reins and changing her goddamn day of birth?
None of us can know for sure, but I’m willing to bet that somebody gets fired over this awkward snafu — and it probably isn’t going to be Kylie.
