After This ‘Bachelor’ Contestant Said She’d Never Had An Orgasm, The Internet Came To Her Rescue

If you’ve been keeping up with┬áthis utterly ridiculous season of The Bachelor, you’re well aware by now that Nick is down to his last two women. Okay, technically three but Rachel has already been announced as the next Bachelorette so we know she’s getting the boot soon. Anyway, the two remaining contestants Vanessa and Raven each have something unique to offer the turtleneck-wearing stag.

Vanessa is a special needs teacher from Canada and Raven is a 25-year-old boutique owner from Arkansas who has never experienced an orgasm. Yes, you read correctly. In 25 years, this woman has never had an orgasm…supposedly. Raven┬ádecided to share this intimate piece of information with Nick during her fantasy sweet date last week and the internet has gathered together to do something about it.

Bachelor contestant Raven Gates revealed on Monday night’s episode that she has never experienced an orgasm and the internet decided to help her out.

Of course, making this sort of announcement on reality television was bound to warrant some form of reaction, but I doubt even Raven could have foreseen the bounds these intimate details would reach. After hearing her story, April Lavelle felt as though she could not stand by and watch another woman go throughout life sans climax while waiting for a man to get the job done. So, she decided to set up a GoFundMe to buy a quality vibrator for Raven.

“On February 27th, 2017, finalist Raven Gates of ‘The Bachelor’ revealed that at 25 years of age, she has never had an orgasm,” began the GoFundMe caption. Unfortunately, the page has since been removed BUT not until the full amount was raised.

The post asked for $60 to buy Gates a Hitachi Magic Wand, a personal sex toy that has been a staple of the industry for nearly 50 years.

According to Elle,┬áLavalle describes it as the “No. 2 pencil of vibrators,” a tried and true device that will get the job done. She says if she can’t get the toy to Gates, she’ll donate proceeds to Planned Parenthood.

From one girl to another, this sounds like a fairly noble endeavor. However, the Magic Wand is a bit of a bold choice for one’s first toy if you ask me (though I highly doubt that this is actually Raven’s first one). The reviews online are mostly positive, but more than one customer mentioned the product’s surprising intensity and insisted it not be used on beginners.

I guess it’s the thought that counts? Surely, Raven would appreciate the effort.
