If you’re a woman who is active on the internet, then it is almost a certainty that at some point a man will either send you an unsolicited photo of his penis, or ask you to send him naked photos of yourself. Such is the world we live in.
However, some women have found rather ingenious ways of taking these obnoxious lemons and turning them into hilariously entertaining lemonade.
An Imgur post from last year recently went viral, thanks its brilliant example of a woman trolling a thirsty dude.
The woman in question apparently wasn’t feeling it when her texting Romeo solicited her for nude pics. So, she decided to choose the best possible way of making her suitor look foolish: she sent him photos of a loading screen.
It’s so simple. So effective. So diabolical.
Naturally, the loading screen usually has a moving wheel, so this clever illusion only goes so far. But, judging from this guy’s response, I’m going to go out on a limb and assume he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed.
Some might say that trolling a guy in this manner is in poor taste, to which I just have to say: sexy photos aren’t a right, and people who demand them and/or feel entitled to them deserve a harmless prank now and again. (Emphasis on the word “harmless” — there is a difference between sending photos of a loading screen and catfishing some clueless guy.)
So, the next time a guy hassles you for some cleavage shots, give him the loading screen treatment and see how long it takes before he clues in to your shenanigans.
Although hopefully he realizes before he goes out and tries to buy a new phone …
