This pregnant woman challenged her husband to a workout and totally kicked his butt

It’s no secret that women are among the strongest creatures on the planet. We can literally grow a human being inside of us and carry it for 9 months before bringing them into the world—pretty crazy when you think about it. As if that wasn’t enough work, several pregnant women continue to be physically active throughout their term as well.

Take Instagrammer Anna Strode for instance, she’s 37 weeks pregnant and still keeping up with a daily workout routine that even her husband can’t match. Talk about one tough mommy!

Mother-to-be Anna Strode is currently 37 weeks pregnant, but she doesn’t let that keep her from an intense workout routine.

She writes, “Still trying my hardest to get a workout in when I can. Not going to lie – exhaustion is starting to hit an ALL TIME LOW and for most of the day, I struggle to keep my eyes open. POWERING on though because that’s what us mamas do.”

Anna still manages to work out 20 minutes a day, four times a week and intends to do so for as long as possible.

Strode recently challenged her husband Rhett to his own pregnancy medicine ball workout and totally owned him.

To make it an equal competition, Anna strapped a 6kg weighted ball to Rhett’s stomach as his own DIY “pregnancy belly”. Rhett then attempted a series of kettle bell squats with his wife as well as some squat jumps. However, it wasn’t long before the ball came loose and Rhett decided to give up.

“Challenged the hubby to a pregnancy workout. Let’s just say it didn’t go so well,”  Anna wrote.

“His response as soon as we taped the weighted ball to him was ‘OH OUCH, this rally hurts your back hey’, and yep – that’s the reason women have babies and not men.”

Hell yeah, Anna keep gettin’ it.
