The Harry Potter book series is loved worldwide by millions of kids and adults alike. So much so that folks hungry for more have taken to creating their own alternate universes, called Fan Fiction, to keep the story going infinitely. But when these stories are put in the hands of someone completely unfamiliar with the general outline of Harry’s wizarding world, they can be easily bewitched.
It all started when Twitter user Shelley Zhang received an innocent question from a friend who thought he was reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Oh. Oh, NO NO NO.
To add insult to injury, the reader had his hopes dashed of a “ship” between Draco Malfoy and Ginny Weasley that would just never ever (not in a million years) happen.
Honestly, please send me these books too, because OMG.
Shelley couldn’t have put it better: “Lots of sex=probably fanfic.”
A rape scene? In a children’s book? *facepalm*
Shelley’s poor friend was honestly taken in. I think I would rage if I was 5 books in and this happened.
Please read the rest of the exchange, because Shelley is continuing to give us a play-by-play of this destruction and it’s just a train wreck we can’t look away from.
This is better than 50 Shades of Grey IMHO.
Maybe the reader will just happily forget this ever happened??
