You guys, Forty Ounce Wines has done it again. After a successful Rosé summer, they’re back with a light-bodied red that incorporates every wine geek’s favorite grape: Gamay. Sommelier Patrick Cappiello debuted the news which might make him our newest hero.
“The wine also speaks to a growing trend with red wines,” Cappiello said in a press release. “Reds that don’t knock you out with tannins, and make for easy drinking all day or night long.”
After successfully recreating college visions of brown-bagged forties, this adult grape juice retails for $16 a bottle. So if you’re looking for a new seasonal drink that may or may not be meant for chugging, here’s where you should look.
